Communications on the BRICS business agenda

On 6 October 2026, Yulia Sergeeva, founder of the EVENT & PR agency Make It Sense and a BIOS Media author, will speak in “New Practices in Media Promotion: GR and PR in 2027” at the second International Financial, Investment and Media Forum of the BRICS countries.

The forum will take place on 6–8 October 2026 at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, under the theme “New Milestones of Development in the ESG Economy”. Media promotion features alongside finance, technology and international business ties.

For businesses, these topics meet in a practical question: how to explain a project’s value to the people and institutions involved in its development — customers, partners, professional communities and public authorities.

From events to lasting relationships

Make It Sense produces events as a B2B marketing tool, starting with the business objective, audience and key message and continuing through delivery and evaluation.

Yulia’s professional background combines customer service, partnership development and international projects. Her experience spans banking, MICE, trade and marketing, negotiation and customer processes. It connects public communication with what follows an initial contact: agreements, the quality of interaction and long-term relationships.

New Practices in Media Promotion: GR and PR in 2027

The session looks ahead to 2027: how communication priorities and businesses’ relationships with key audiences are changing.

PR concerns public communication and reputation; GR concerns business relationships with government institutions. In this context, promotion extends beyond choosing a media outlet or publication format to a clear company position, consistent messages and sustained professional dialogue.

Yulia’s participation connects this agenda with events, customer service and partnerships — areas reflected in her work and BIOS Media profile.
